The Brooks Glycerin 22 offers an exceptional cushioning experience after being infused with nitrogen. Those familiar with Brooks know that the upper design hasn't changed in years, and the overall shape has remained largely the same – engineered mesh upper, soft and comfortable. The forefoot last is traditionally wider, but it ensures ample room for toe movement. Extensive foam padding from the tongue to the heel provides excellent support and comfort. Unlike other brands, Brooks uses materials that conduct heat quickly; although thick and seemingly stuffy, they are surprisingly cool. The full-length DNA Loftv3 nitrogen foam and the thick, durable outsole offer decent traction.
